Bethenny Frankel is moving from New York City to Florida for the sake of her daughter, Bryn Hoppy.
“Bryn is Bethenny’s top priority, and the decision to move to Florida was all about supporting her,” a source tells Page Six.
“The move reflects Bryn’s academic and athletic goals and was made with her physical and emotional well-being front and center,” the insider explains.
It is unclear which interests Hoppy plans to pursue in the Sunshine State, but Frankel, 54, has shared several TikTok videos of the 14-year-old playing competitive volleyball in the past.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum also hinted at her daughter’s interest in attending the University of Miami when she had Matt Lauer’s daughter, Romy Lauer, give them a tour of the campus in January.
Frankel, who has been a longtime resident of Manhattan, stunned fans when she announced Thursday that she had relocated to Florida for “personal and professional reasons.”
“Something has arisen that made this the best and healthiest for myself and my daughter,” she said in an Instagram video.
The former Bravolebrity clarified that she and Hoppy, whose father is Frankel’s ex-husband Jason Hoppy, “will maintain residences in the Hamptons and New York City because we love New York.”
However, she called Florida their “primary and permanent residence” while turning the camera to show an oceanfront view, which she called her new “backyard.”
Frankel added in the caption that the move was the “healthiest life choice” for her family.
The Skinnygirl founder previously took a break from the Big Apple to spend more time at her $5.5 million property in Southampton.
However, in January 2024, Frankel purchased a 1,300-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom prewar pied-à-terre on the Upper West Side.
The reality star has been spending more time in Florida with her boyfriend, Tom Villante. The two have been spotted packing on the PDA in Miami several times since they started dating in September 2024.
