UPDATE 3/7/25, 1:18 p.m. ET — Bachelor Nation alum Kendall Long shared her daughter’s name days after giving birth.
“Welcoming our sweet baby GIRL to the world!! Elise Patrice Sagely 💕🎀✨,” Long wrote in an Instagram post on Friday, March 7, sharing photos from the hospital. “I can’t even begin to tell you how enamored we were as we witnessed her first breath. Love is truly an understatement for the emotions of the past few days💕.”
Her caption continued, “Through all the congratulations to the both of us, Mitch would say, ‘She was the baker, I just threw in a few ingredients’ and tho I feel like that’s somewhat hilariously on point, I couldn’t have imagined going through labor without my husband by my side, encouraging me and kissing my forehead through every push.”
Long gushed that she and her husband “are forever blissfully changed” after welcoming their daughter, adding, “Witnessing the magic of a life beginning is something truly special to behold 🌱.”

Kendall Long has welcomed her first baby with husband Mitchell Sagely.
“Hearts are SO full! Just enjoying our first few days as a family with the new BABE!” Long, 33, wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, March 5. “Will share more soon.”
Long shared an image of her newborn swaddled in a blanket, placing a heart over the baby’s face.
The couple revealed in September 2024 that they were expecting. “We have had quite the escapade these past few years but our most exciting adventure is yet to come ✨🫶🏼,” Long and Sagely wrote in a joint Instagram post. “Baby Sagely due February 2025!!”
One month before sharing their pregnancy news, Long revealed that the couple secretly eloped in Santa Barbara, California, days before they moved to Germany in 2022.
“It was such a special day surrounded by love with only our immediate family attending,” she recalled via Instagram. “It’s been incredibly hard for me to keep our secret and at times I’ve just wanted to shout to the world that I’m Mrs. Sagely!! So finally getting to tell you all is so freeing!”
Long gushed that being married to Sagely has been an “unforgettable adventure together,” adding, “We’ve traveled to some incredible places around the world and we have also [grown] closer from the struggles and small victories of adjusting to a life abroad. It’s truly bonkers to me that we’ve already been married for nearly two years!”
She continued, “Starting our life together abroad has made me so grateful for my husband and every day I wake up incredibly proud of the life we are building together 🥰.”

Long noted that the pair plans to have a larger celebration with family and friends in the U.S., but they “couldn’t wait to start [their] lives together.”
Bachelor Nation met Long when appeared on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season 22 of The Bachelor in 2018. Following her stint on the show, Long headed to the beaches of Mexico and formed a relationship with Joe Amabile on Bachelor in Paradise season 5. While Long and Amabile, 38, didn’t leave the show together, they rekindled their romance offscreen and moved in together in Los Angeles. The pair announced in 2020 that they called it quits.
“If anyone knows me, I’m not the person that plans my wedding and I was literally doing that with Joe,” she said on her “Down to Date” podcast one month after they split. “But something weird about ending something with some that you thought you were going to marry [is] you almost feel like you have such a better idea of what you’re looking for.”
Long and Amabile both returned for BiP season 7, but she exited the show after he formed a connection with Serena Pitt. After Amabile popped the question to Pitt, 27, in the season finale, the couple exchanged vows in 2022.
