Teddi Mellencamp and Kyle Richards celebrated their friendship by getting matching tattoos as Mellencamp continues battling her stage 4 cancer.
The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-stars attended a pajama birthday party for their mutual friend Jennifer Turner Leipart when the three of them decided to get inked together.
Richards, Mellencamp and Leipart all got the same tattoo of a match lit with a flame atop in the middle of their forearm.
Richards, 56, posted a photo of Mellencamp, 43, laughing while tattoo artist Wesley Austin drew the symbol and shared other pics of the group, which included “RHOBH” star Erika Jayne and friend Faye Resnick.
All three friends later showed off their matching designs by criss-crossing their arms together.
“Cozy night in wearing our pajamas 🥰 Perfect way to celebrate @jennleipart who’s an amazing friend to all 🎂 And of course we had to include the talented @wyldwess to our girls only night 🤷🏻♀️,” Richards captioned the pictures Wednesday night.
“We love our new tattoos! A perfect match! Yolo 😜,” she added.
Neither Richards nor Mellencamp are strangers to getting inked, as they each have several tattoos –– including matching ones on their hands.
Richards has gotten nearly a dozen tattoos over the last few years, twinning with her daughters, Sophia Umansky and Farrah Aldjufrie as well as her close friend Morgan Wade.
Meanwhile, Mellencamp hasn’t gotten as many as her bestie, but she has been making changes to her appearance ever since doctors discovered “multiple tumors” on her brain in February.
The “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast co-host has not shied away from showing her health journey over the last few months and has taken videos while shaving off her hair before emergency brain surgery and later trying on different wigs.
“Some days you feel like a wig, some days you don’t,” Mellencamp explained while showing off her different blond wig options last month.
Mellencamp has been battling melanoma since 2022, but she recently revealed that her cancer had spread to both her brain and lungs.
After undergoing emergency brain surgery in February, Mellencamp shared that four tumors were removed, but she would still need to treat her “smaller” tumors with radiation and immunotherapy.
In March, Mellencamp announced that doctors discovered additional tumors on both her brain and her lungs.
“I’m fighting for my life, but also for my family’s life and all the people I love,” she told Us Weekly in an interview published last week.
The former Bravolebrity celebrated her “last day of radiation” last week and clarified that she has “five more rounds of immunotherapy to go.”
