Post Malone served custody papers from ex before Coachella

Post Malone was served with custody papers just days before he took the stage at Coachella 2025.

Malone’s ex-fiancée, Hee Sung “Jamie” Park, hired a process server to track down the “Congratulations” singer ahead of his second weekend headlining the music festival in Indio, Calif., according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

Malone, 29, was personally handed the paperwork inside a parking garage at a luxury apartment building Friday at 1 p.m. — just two days before his performance.

The rapper-turned-country crooner’s show still went off without a hitch despite the legal drama.

He appeared unbothered as he performed in front of more than 100,000 fans with help from special guests Jelly Roll and Ed Sheeran.

InTouch Weekly was the first to report the news.

The paperwork was related to Park’s recent custody case. Last week, she filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking primary physical custody of their 2-year-old daughter, who was referenced only as “DDP.”

Although the child’s full name was not listed, Park’s identity was made public for the first time due to the documents.

She requested that they share joint legal custody and asked that Malone be awarded visitation of the little one, who was born in May 2022.

Malone announced in June 2022 that he had welcomed a baby girl and revealed at the same time that he had gotten engaged — though he only referred to Park as his “fiancée” and not by her full name.

Although Park’s filing was the first to make headlines, it turned out Malone beat her to the punch. The “Sunflower” singer filed his own custody documents in Utah two days before his ex beelined it to court in California.

Since he filed first, that’s where the case will be handled, according to TMZ. The move will allegedly save the singer a lot of money, as California allows for higher payments when it comes to child support.

Park reportedly moved to LA at the start of 2025, which insiders claim may have been calculated.

Sources told TMZ that she wanted to establish residency in California for financial reasons regarding custody agreements.

It is unclear exactly when the two began dating, as they kept their relationship very low-profile. However, TMZ previously reported they parted ways sometime in late 2024.

After their split, Malone began dating Parsons School of Design student Christy Lee. Unlike the singer’s last relationship, the new couple has not shied away from showing off their romance.

The lovebirds were recently spotted on a dinner date in Rome, at a low-key bar in Idaho and on a shopping spree in Paris.
