Miley Cyrus was supported by her mother, Tish Cyrus, as she celebrated her 2025 Grammy Award victory.
Miley, 32, stepped out at the Sunday, February 2, ceremony, dressed to impress in a black leather Saint Laurent halter dress. She accessorized her look with an armful of gold bangles and a selection of coordinating rings. Her stylist, Bob Recine, did her hair in a double-bang.
While Miley walked the red carpet solo, she was joined inside the Crypto.com Arena by Tish, 57, who sported a black mock-turtleneck dress. The two women were also accompanied by Miley’s boyfriend of nearly four years, Maxx Morando.
Ahead of the ceremony, Miley and Beyoncé won the trophy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their “II Most Wanted Duet.” It is Miley’s third win after her song “Flowers” took home the 2024 prizes for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Bringing Tish as her date once again, Miley made sure to thank her “mommy” in her acceptance speech.
“Thank you all so much. This award is amazing. But I really hope that it does not change anything. Because my life was beautiful yesterday,” Miley said at the time. “Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular. So please don’t think that this is important — Even though it’s very important, right, guys?”

She concluded, “I don’t think I forgot anyone, but I might have forgotten underwear. Bye.”
Nearly one year later, Miley’s family has been at the center of drama. Last month, her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, sparked concern after his performance at a presidential inaugural ball featured technical issues. Miley’s brother Trace Cyrus later issued a public plea to Billy Ray, claiming that the 63-year-old “Achy Breaky Heart” singer wasn’t healthy.

“Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away,” Trace, 35, wrote via Instagram in January. “Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven’t even been there for her. That’s your baby girl. She deserves better. Somehow just like me she still idolizes you though.”
Billy Ray adopted Trace and his sister Brandi Cyrus after he married their mother Tish in 1992. Tish and Billy Ray went on to welcome children Miley, Braison Cyrus and Noah Cyrus before they divorced in 2022. (Billy Ray also shares son Christopher Cyrus with ex Kristin Luckey.)
Braison, 30, later insisted that Billy Ray was “happy and healthy,” before the two-time Grammy winner spoke out.
“Sunday callin. Giving thanks for the California Rain,” he captioned a January 26 social media post. “Praying for the brokenhearted and their pain. Praying for my family. For my children … sons and daughters…and their mother. Let this moment be the start of healing ❤️🩹 for us all. ‘The past does not equal the future.’ Amen 🙏🏼.”
Neither Miley nor Tish, who married actor Dominic Purcell in 2023, have addressed the apparent drama.
