Madonna jumped on the latest TikTok trend Thursday,
Set to the tune of rapper That Mexican OT’s song, “Hardest Ese Ever,” the pop icon, 66, lip-synced along to the lyrics as she pointed to her mouth to show off her shimmering wild lapis-and-diamond grills in her short TikTok video.
She didn’t caption the clip, but fans were quick to sound off in the comments with their thoughts on the “Material Girl” singer’s extravagant show of wealth.
“That definitely costs more than my car,” commented one TikTok user.
Another added: “Damn Madonna????? You didn’t have to stunt this hard??😩🔥💙”
In response to what appeared to be confusion surrounding the pop star’s video, a third person said: “Yall really don’t know who Madonna is. This is so her.”
The grills featured in the clip appear to be the same mouth jewelry she unveiled in 2022 on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”
During the episode, the singer revealed that she custom designed the diamond encrusted mouthpiece as a 64th birthday present to herself.
She also defended her use of the glitzy “mouth jewelry” after facing some backlash from fans.
“People have a problem with my grills, I don’t know why,” Madonna said at the time.
“I just like the way it looks — it’s mouth jewelry — and I have really ugly teeth.”
She also owns a set of grills that are crafted from real gold and adorned with 24 diamonds, which she acquired in 2013.
The “Like a Virgin” hitmaker has been known to turn heads with some of her expensive fashions over the years.
Just last month, she hosted her annual Oscars afterparty with manager Guy Oseary while wearing a nearly 80-carat aquamarine stone around her neck, which is priced at $32,000.
The necklace’s “one-of-a-kind” design also holds 38 diamonds circling the center stone and dotting the 18-karat gold chain, earning it the name, “Looking Glass Necklace.”
