George Clooney is no longer a silver fox.

On Thursday, the actor hit the red carpet for the opening night of his new Broadway show, “Good Night and Good Luck,” where he showed off his freshly dyed hair.

The two-time Oscar winner posed at the Winter Garden Theatre in a classic tuxedo, letting his newly dark brown hair shine.

He changed up his signature salt-and-pepper appearance for his role as Edward R. Murrow in the play, which is a theatrical adaptation of the 2005 movie he also starred in, directed and co-wrote.

The “Ocean’s Eleven” star, 63, first debuted his dramatic hair transformation during a lunch date with his wife Amal Clooney in March.

The couple dined at celeb-loved eatery Raoul’s in New York City, and Amal, 47, looked spring-ready in a cropped plaid jacket, oversized sunglasses, bell-bottom jeans and dramatic dangling earrings.

Despite committing to his character, the “ER” actor admitted he wasn’t excited about having to dye his hair — and neither was Amal.

“My wife is going to hate it because nothing makes you look older than when an older guy dyes his hair,” he told the New York Times. “My kids are going to just laugh at me nonstop.”

George shares 7-year-old twins Ella and Alexander with the human rights lawyer, whom he wed in 2014.

Amal was not in attendance for opening night — though tons of stars including Jennifer Lopez, Uma Thurman, Pierce Brosnan and more did hit the red carpet in support of Clooney. His wife, however, was at home with the children.

In addition to switching up his look, George also started smoking to fully get into character as the famed broadcaster, who smoked three packs of cigarettes a day and died from lung cancer at just 57.

“I had to get better at inhaling,” he told the publication. “I go outside so the kids don’t see and smoke a little bit.”
