Andy Cohen admits he tried Botox for the first time

Andy Cohen is taking his first steps into the world of injectables.

While the Bravo mogul has been resistant to getting Botox in the past, he revealed during the “Married to Medicine” Season 11 reunion on Monday that he has finally tried out the treatment.

The “Watch What Happens Live” host, 56, first asked Dr. Contessa Metcalfe about getting the injection, joking, “What I really want to know is who gets more Botox, you or Scott [Metcalfe]?”

Contessa admitted that although her husband has gotten Botox injected into his forehead, he believes “men aren’t supposed to get [it] as frequently as women.”

The admission prompted Cohen to share candidly, “I just got it for the first time in my life.”

“How long ago?” Contessa asked, to which Cohen replied, “About a month ago. They gave me a little.”

“Wait ’til it hits,” Contessa excitedly told Cohen. Meanwhile, Toya Bush-Harris quipped, “It’s supposed to hit faster than a month. Come [down] to Atlanta. Come home to Atlanta.”

Cohen was open to a trip, but Dr. Simone Whitmore attempted to deter him. “They’ll have your face frozen. Do not do that!” she warned.

While this marks Cohen’s first cosmetic procedure admission, the TV host frequently asks the “Real Housewives” cast members what plastic surgeries and other treatments they’ve undergone.

In January, he faced backlash for the question on X (formerly Twitter), where a critic wrote, “The millions of women who watch these franchises are tired of you asking women ‘what work they had done.’

“This isn’t 2009 anymore and women can do whatever they want to their face/bodies. It’s time to retire this question. It’s rude and does 0 for the viewers.”

Cohen quickly responded, saying, “‘What work have you done’ remains at the top of the list of viewer questions every season, every franchise.”

“The HW have unabashedly let us into their beauty regimes since day one,” he said. “It’s a big part of the series DNA.”
